The Challenge
KPMG operates in a highly competitive professional services market where clients often struggle to differentiate between firms. Research highlighted a lack of perceived distinction between KPMG and its peers, creating a need for a more compelling and emotionally resonant brand platform. The challenge was to build a global campaign that could strengthen awareness, increase consideration and reposition KPMG as an innovative, forward-looking organisation while remaining true to its established "Make the Difference" brand proposition.

The Thinking
The campaign centred on the insight that progress starts with action. The word "Make" is simple, universal and inherently positive. It represents movement, ambition and creation. Whether making bold moves, making change easier, making growth happen or making the future, the platform gives KPMG a flexible and powerful language system that can connect with different audiences, business challenges and sectors. By moving from simply describing what KPMG does to celebrating what clients can achieve, the platform creates a stronger emotional connection while reinforcing KPMG's role as a catalyst for meaningful progress.

The Work
A fully integrated global campaign was developed around the "MAKE ___" creative device, supported by the overarching sign-off, KPMG. Make the Difference. The campaign launched through a tiered content architecture spanning brand awareness, consideration and relationship-building activity. Bold high-impact creative executions delivered simple, directive statements such as "Make Bold Moves", "Make Innovation Flow" and "Make It Sustainable", while deeper storytelling content showcased client, sector and capability stories. The platform was designed to work across advertising, digital, content, events, thought leadership, internal communications and recruitment, creating a unified global expression of the brand.

The Impact
